Main Event 15 rounds of rated games Full Round Robin¹ Up to 4 divisions restricted to 16 or fewer players each. Elite division cutoff of 1700 with strict 100 point play-up rule. ² Guaranteed 1st prize of $300+ in every division except novice. $70/$70/$70/$50³

Games will be played at Picadome Clubhouse, 469 Parkway Drive

All players must pre-register by October 27 (postmark)

$15 rebate for all entries postmarked by October 1.

¹  Based on full division of 16 players. For smaller divisions “Full Round Robin + KOH” or “Double Round Robin + KOH” will be used.

²  Players are allowed to “play up” to enter the division if reference rating (maximum rating between receipt of registration and the day of event) is within 100 points. Admittance is ‘first come, first served’ and players who obtain spots by requesting to play up cannot be later bumped by higher rated players, even if their rating subsequently drops below 1600. Players with reference rating above 1700 will not be allowed to “play down” into a lower division.

³  Because we cannot know who will be placed in the novice division until a few days before the tournament, all participants should send a check for $70. A rebate of $20 will be given to each player placed in the novice division.

• Main Event Rounds 4-8 ........ Sat 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30, 5:30 PM
• Main Event Rounds 9-10 ...... Sat 8:00, 9:00 PM
• Late Bird Event .................... Sun 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 AM
• Main Event Rounds 11-15 .... Sun 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, 6:00 PM

Awards Ceremony ..................... Sun 7:00-7:20 PM
